US-550 San Juan Skyway Fencing | Ideal Fencing Corp

The San Juan Skyway corridor between Durango and Ouray passes through intact wildlife habitat — the San Juan Mountains host black bear, elk, mule deer, and mountain lion that cross US-550 seasonally. CDOT Region 5 has funded wildlife exclusion fencing at identified crossing hazard locations on this corridor, and private ranches along the route require agricultural fencing for livestock exclusion from highway right-of-way.
